Further Education Colleges

Further Education is post compulsary meaning it is in addition to secondary education. It is primarily taught in Further Education (FE) Colleges and is available to anyone over 16. FE Colleges offer a wide range of vocational and work based courses but also GCSE O-level courses, the same as those taught in secondary school and courses leading to university entry such as Foundation and A-Level.

FE colleges offer vocational training for people who want careers in accountancy, electrical work, plumbing, mechanics, hair styling & beauty therapy, secretarial work, hotel & catering, travel & tourism and many many more.

Many FE colleges also have language departments offering various types of English language programmes for overseas students

Here are some FE colleges that we feel are best equipped to cater for overseas students' needs. You may feel confused by some of the course titles available but we feel it is more important to focus on what they actually do, than the often confusing terminology! Let GetSet deal with the terminology – as we have an intimate knowledge of the institutions we can advise you as to which of them exactly suit your needs.
