GetSet ICRT Scholarship

This year sees the launch of the ICRT UK Student Ambassador program. We are looking for someone to work as our eyes and ears as to what it's like to be an international graduate student in the UK. We are looking for someone special to send us regular reports and blog about life there, and to give the ICRT listeners a real feel of what it's like to study overseas from a Taiwan perspective. And what's more, we have a full scholarship of up to half a million NT dollars to help you with your studies!
If you are thinking of studying at a UK university this year and think you've got what it takes to give us an interesting and accurate insight into student life in the UK we want to hear from you!
The ICRT UK Study Ambassador will be reporting regularly back to ICRT about all areas of life in the UK. We want to know about; your university, your professors, what you're eating, what music you're listening to, who you're making friends with… basically every part of your new life there.

Terms and Conditions
The Scholarship will cover the full cost of one-year's tuition only at a UK university for one student during the academic year 2012-13
Airfare, living costs and accommodation are not included in the scholarship
Student’s must submit their university applications through one on the GetSet centres in Taiwan to be eligible to enter the scholarship
Applications for the scholarship must be submitted by July 31st, 2012
The winner of the scholarship must agree to regularly update their student blog and hold regular interview sessions with ICRT that will be broadcast on national radio.
The Scholarship is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
The scholarship will be paid to the institution at which the scholarship winner will be attending and not direct to the student
If the scholarship winner drops out of the course on which they are studying they will not be entitled to a refund of the course fees.
GetSet reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship at their discretion at any time.
The ICRT scholarship is open to Taiwan nationals or residents of Taiwan only.
The scholarship winner will be expected to arrange their own insurance for the period of whilst they are travelling to and studying in the UK.
